What is Regulatory Compliance?

Ongoing regulatory compliance is the backbone of every cross-border enterprise. Indian companies with foreign investment or overseas operations must comply with FEMA, RBI, MCA, and SEBI regulations through a complex calendar of annual and event-based filings.

Why It Matters

Missed filings attract compounding, penalties, and can even invalidate prior approvals. For listed entities, SEBI non-compliance can trigger trading restrictions and reputational damage. For FEMA, contraventions can lead to penalties up to 3x the contravention amount.

SilverSiX acts as your outsourced compliance partner — maintaining calendars, preparing filings, and representing you before regulators.

What is the FLA Return?
The Foreign Liabilities and Assets (FLA) Return is an annual return filed by 15 July, reporting all foreign assets and liabilities of the Indian entity as of the end of the financial year.

Yes. FEMA contraventions can be compounded by the RBI under Section 15. The compounding fee is typically up to 3x the contravention amount. We handle the entire compounding application.
